This is Landi. She is 24 years old and lives in the flat immediately next to mine on the Agape 2 premises. She is Gerrit and Ami's first and oldest of their 10 adopted child. Landi was born during a botched abortion and was severely neglected for the first 18 months of her life. Gerrit was a social worker at the time and she was one of his cases. The family he placed her with called him after-hours to say they could not take care of her, so Gerrit brought her home for the night. The older three children fell in love with Landi and she's been with the family ever since. Landi loves her family and works full time with the children in her parents' house. One day Landi will come to the U.S. and work as an au pair. It will be a lucky family because in addition to having tons of experience taking care of children, she is also cooks delicious food.
